Background Checks

We require third-party background checks for all pastors as well as everyone appointed to minister to children, including nursery staff and Sunday school teachers. There is no cost to you. Reports are limited to government records of sexual misconduct. The results are reviewed by the consistory and held confidential. They must be renewed every three years. If there is anything which might disqualify you from working with children, please disclose it to the consistory.
